Tomasita's Restaurant

Place was packed. Service was slow, food was pretty good. I usually love beans, but I felt like theirs didnt have any flavor. Rice was really good. I had the combination plate and I thought the taco was better than the enchilada. My husband had tamales and they were huge.

Wow! Great food and exceptional service! This place was recommended to us by a couple of locals as being the best Mexican place in Santa Fe, and in my humble opinion they were right! There are many good Mexican restaurants in Santa Fe and this is at the top.

Popular New Mexican restaurant with a good size menu and decent food. Not sure why this place is always packed, but they do a good enough job and are not overpriced like some other options in the Santa Fe area. Good size menu with all the classics including the state question "Red Or Green" where the correct answer is always "Christmas". The included sopapillas are a must, of course, especially when familiarizing out of town guests with New Mexico cuisine.

Delicious New Mexican food, reasonable prices. We ordered online takeaway the blue corn veggie enchiladas no cheese (vegan) and the super combo. Food was delicious, good options. The curbside pickup was easy. We will definitely be back.

When going to this fine establishment you feel the authenticity from the decor to the staff who greet you and seat you. Now on to the wonderful food and drinks.There margaritas are out of this world! If you get a chance to go. Make sure to put it on your to do list if in Santa Fe. For sure the one in Albuquerque is also of its own stature ENJOY!

Just okay. Perfectly adequate. Nothing special. The live music was fun. Do not order the fried mushroom appetizer - it was bland and watery. I enjoyed my cheese omelette with a side of veggies and my husbands steak was good. I've had plenty of better meals though at similarly priced restaurants during my time in Santa Fe.

Busy, you'll wait for dinner. Very very good good and better drinks. The service is top notch and the location in the railyard is perfect for anyone visiting Sante Fe. Come here to try real New Mexican cusines. Good bar to wait for the train back to ABQ.

In spite of being very busy, we were seated quickly. Our waiter was a guy who has clearly been at this a while; really efficient and just friendly enough. My kinda waiter. Tamale plate was quite good, with plenty of spicy red sauce. Rice and beans were tasty. Plenty of food, too. My son had a quesadilla that was fair. Chicken had the canned taste to it, so would not order that again. Overall, good experience and prices were not insane.

One of the best margaritas I have ever had. Great portion for meal. Great service.

Reservations highly recommended. Very busy from open to close! But you won't regret the crowd and noise. Food is delicious!! Service and staff are outstanding!!

We were told half an hour wait and didn't get a table for close to an hour. We got a pitcher of the house margarita and it was ninety percent ice. The tortilla chips were cold, and the salsa too spicy. The waiter also never checked in on us. The one good thing was the music. I'm sad because I've heard good things about this place, but our experience was not enjoyable.

Great place for family and groups to meet for classic New Mexican food. When crowded we head to the bar for space-available seating. The daily specials are delicious and ever so filling.

Family favorite! Always good food, great atmosphere but sometimes hard to hear when conversing. The ambiance is very authentic and warming!

The food is always really good here never a problem, but their customer service needs a lot of work. Waited for our food to be brought out and for simple things like refills of water, coffee and tea. Turns out our waiter was at the end of his shift and never told us or even introduced the waitress covering our table. I always like to eat at the one in Santa Fe but service is better in Albuquerque.

I wish you could award zero stars for Tomasita’s in the Santa Fe Railyard. Entering guests names in a electronic system that alerts you went a table is ready in the order you arrive is an easy job right? Our family was never alerted or seated. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Ambiance relaxing. Food was awesome hot and no long wait. Swirl margaritas the best. And server Max is the best I highly recommend you ask for him as your server. Thank you Max !!

My group of 8 were all impressed with the fine service beginning with the helpful parking attendant, then the short wait, then the great service, but the entrees were just wonderful. No one in our group was disappointed. We'll be back next time we're in Santa Fe.

They don't take reservations but told us to come anyway and they would accommodate us. After waiting almost 45 minutes they sat us at 2 tables not near each other. They they moved part of us to a different table. The wait staff was great. The food was ok. Portions seemed a bit small. We probably won't go back.

Great food, large portions. Fantastic service. We presented as a large group and were served quickly by very friendly servers.

This used to be a staple every time we went to Santa Fe. The last couple of visits, though, the service has been friendly but almost nonexistent. No drink refills, no checking to see how things are cooked, very inattentive even when the place isn't super busy (which is almost never), AND we waited for quite a while to get our check. The food is not bad, but not worth the hassle with so many other options in town.

The enchiladas with red sauce were great, it's been a year so I must return

They had it a bit cold but did turn temp up on request. Waitress was wonderful and super nice. My bourbon and coke was perfect. Wife's skinny margaritas was just right. Not sweet. My tortilla soup was excellent. Wife's chili was watery this time. Last year it was thick. Flavor still there. Sopaipilla was light and flaky. Honey butter and table honey smooth and sweet.

Great food and drinks. Excellent value too!We spent a week in Santa Fe and tried a lot of different restaurants. Tomasita's offers the same great food and drink but for considerably less money. Come here, trust me, you wont be disappointed!

Stopped in to have a quick bite with a co-worker. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a chicken quesadilla and it was perfect, not greasy and very flavourful. Good guacamole and green chili.

We have been eating at Tomasita's for many years and the food is consistently amazing! Service is friendly and super fast. It's our favorite place to eat when we visit Santa Fe.

This place was packed on a Friday night but we were fortunate to be seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and overall the service was quick and efficient. Vegetarian items are marked on the menu and there are sufficient menu items to choose from. I had the vegetarian enchilada plate and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this place and would happily return.

Don’t give 5 stars often but this place deserves it. Fantastic food, fantastic service. Full of flavor and just a great historic place to visit. Don’t pass it up.

Great waiter! Food was no where near the quality of Albuquerque location! Awful! Couldn't even finish the plate. Very dissatisfied. Oredered tacos and they forgot the tortillas!Will not return. Person who brought food misheard part of our conversation and became very confrontational. Drinks were awful! Albuquerque location better by far!

Tomasita's has great tasting food & friendly employees today I had the vegetarian enchilada plate i was highly satisfied. I highly recommend stopping by and trying out the food. This establishment is very busy so I recommend making reservations and giving yourself time.

As the person that recommended this place to us said " if you haven't been to Santa Fe before then you have to go to Tomasitas for Mexican food.". He was absolutely correct. We had taco salad, quesadillas, Southwest chicken sandwich and more...it was all delicious. You should definitely try this place.

I love this place it has been my favorite place since I was a kid but they were located on Hickox however I placed an order tonight and my milk comes with us so puppy but I asked for two extra and they charge me for it but did not put it in the bag I live 45 miles from Santa Fe and then open the bag till I got home I am truly disappointed and I want them to make this right I tried to call but they don't even have an answering machine after 9:00

Great classic New Mexican cuisine can be enjoyed at Tomasita’s. I recommend the blue corn chicken enchiladas. Save room for sopapillas and local honey!

I know this place is a really popular establishment in Santa Fe, but it just did nothing more than offend my taste buds with a bombardment of over spicy Chile and a below average beer selection. The only thing that I enjoyed were the fresh sopapillas that came with the meal, those are amongst the best I have ever tasted.

Very dissatisfied with the service and so called customer service we received! Today was my birthday 🎂 I chose to be here and enjoy my night out of anywhere I wanted in this beautiful City! And I was let down from start to finish. Manager who didn't even truly care gave me a discount as if I came without money to pay! I didn't want a discount I wanted to enjoy my birthday dinner at tomasitas 💔

Always a good dining experience. Just have to know a couple things: your party must be fully present to put in your name for table and recommend early arrival ( say 3:30-4pm for dinner ), otherwise be prepared for possible long wait to be seated. But once there and seated, enjoy excellent food and great Margaritas if you're so inclined.
